Aquetong Watershed Association has scheduled its Annual Litter Cleanup for April 4 at 9AM. The event typically lasts a few hours but you can volunteer as long as you would like!

Gloves, safety vests, trash bags, and cleanup location assignments will be provided.

Help the Aquetong Watershed Association remove invasive garlic mustard from Aquetong Spring Park. After the pull we will make pesto with some of the garlic mustard we pulled and other ingredients.

AWA will provide all materials and ingredients, make sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Mason Bee Jar Workshop
Saturday, May 10 from 2 to 3pm

Help your local pollinators right here at your local library! Join Jade Greene from the Aquetong Watershed Association at the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury for a Mason Bee Jar Workshop. Attendees will put native plant and bamboo hollow stalks into a cleaned tin can, tie a string around it and then hang at home for the bees. We'll have plenty of supplies on hand, but feel welcome to bring a tin can of your own if you'd like!

WHERE: Aquetong Spring Park ( 6294 Lower Mountain Rd, New Hope, PA 18938)

Meet us in Aquetong Spring Park to plant native shrubs to help protect a section of the creek from erosion and temperature pollution - improving water quality, stream bank stability, and increasing diversity of native plants.

No planting experience necessary!  AWA will provide the shovels, make sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, closed-toed shoes, and bring your gloves! 

Project funded thanks to the Lower Delaware Wild & Scenic Management Council, as funded by the National Park Service mini grant.
